Browsing V.Slow on newly added PC

Hi,

We have an office with a PC running as a WinGate server and two-three other PCs as Clients - plus a couple of printers. All machines are connected via a central hub.

We have just added a new PC and though it is a high spec PC web browsing is impossibly slow - much slower than 56k and we are on 512.

Does anyone know what might be the cause for this? We have not seen this adding the other PCs to the network.

Can you try pinging from this new machine - just ping any external IP address and check RTT timing (compare it with other machine' RTT).
