Extended Network filters

With our 4th Winproxy to Wingate conversion, we looked at the Extended Networking policies filter facility. We found it to be very confusing and not at all intuitive. Maybe it was just us.

However, were were puzzled by the fact the when we added a new filter it incremented the filter number (e.g. Filter 7). We could possibly by now have 7 filters in place that we are not really sure what they do. The problem is that we cannot find the the 7 filters in any display.

So the questions are:

Do the filter numbers increment forever even if previous filters are deleted?

How do we see all the filters that are in existence?

Yes have seen that behaviour.

What happens if you just re-create them from scratch in that service in order, is it sequential then?

Have you deleted some trial filters // maybe 6 and kept #7?
