Cant start wingate

I just installed a trial version of wingate 6.2.2 but i cant start the engine but the wingate vpn is running, if i click to start the engine it requests a log in which i will do but the status will still be "wingate engine stopped

Do you get any other error messages? what OS are you running this on?
