Hello Guys,
I have wingate 5.0.1 and on the client (winXP sp2) pc, java login applet take a while and status shows recieving challenge.

Make sure the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is configured to make connections to the Internet directly rather than through a proxy.
If the JRE was to make the connection through the WWW Proxy Server, it will fail to establish a connection with the Remote Control Service.
If the JRE was to make the connection through the WWW Proxy Server, it will fail to establish a connection with the Remote Control Service.
