Can I restrict people based on IP

Hi,

Is it possible to restrict people based on there IP settins or computer name? we are not using Active D yet and need to put in place some tight internet restrictions. Before my router was doing this but now with WinGate doing the DHCP people have found out that they can freely use the internet which I need to stop ASAP.

Yes you can restrict Based on IP or if WinGate is the DHCP server you can use the computer name.

First set up assumptions to link IP addresses or computer names with usernames.

Then create policies for these users or groups of users.
