Hai.
I'have got a strange problem with dns. Sometimes I have a DNS Storm in WIngate 5.2.3. I see a lot of DNS requests and wingate stop responding with ens error. Do you know something about this?
Thanks in advance

The dns is using wingate as forwarder and I put the dns ip of the adsl modem in wingate.
I hope that this answer your questions?
Thanks in advance.
think i know what the problem is, the private ip adress on your lan card should have a blank dns( the network that clients connect to) what you did probably is put the dns of the dsl modem in there just remove it, this case happened with me once and i almost lost my mind figuring it out :)
also since you use dns in wingate disable the dns in win 2000 if there is a dns server in the services.
hope this helps.
