route-map transparent proxy

Postby mal_draco » Aug 20 04 11:40 pm

Hello,

I have a cisco router and would like to use wingate as a tranparent proxy ( like when using squid ). I have created a route map and traffic is being redirected to the wingate server. I have also configured the wingate to behave in tranperent mode, however it is not serving pages.

Please note that when I use wingate as a prooxy in my browser thing work fine.

Thank you,

wilhelm

Can you see connection created by the clients as NATed connections?

no I have placed the wingate and clients on the same lan. Default gateway is cisco which has a route map.

10x,

You have to point all default routes from the clients through Wingate and on CISCO router the only route to your local lan should be through Wingate, too.
