ban downloading specific file type?

Hi there,

Apology if this related topic has been posted. Could anyone guide me how to block users from downloading .exe, .mp3 files types for all site from WWW service setting. (Note: i have already choose ignore the default system policies)

If you've only got one entry under policy in the WWW proxy (e.g Everyone), then just edit it, go to the banlist, and add

URL contains .mp3

etc.

If you have more than one entry then you need to ban it from all entries for whom you don't want to be able to download those types of files.
