Hi,

I have an old WinGate Pro 5.x license witn a 3-user VPN Server and a single Remote VPN Client.

I have made the decision to upgrade to WG7 but I don't need to change its size. The "Upgrade/Renew a License" form offers two choices: "purchase version protection" and "purchase version protection and upgrade license"

At first, it seemed pretty obvious to me that the first choice would get me a license key to use with WinGate 7. But checking current packages, I found that you do not offer 3-user Pro version.

Is my first assumption correct? Am I getting a WinGate 7 PRO version with 3 users by choosing to just purchasing version protection?

Hi

we don't currently offer a 3 user pro license. I'm not sure when that one was discontinued. Many years ago I think.

Renewing version protection will make the license eligible, but since it's an old 5.x key we need to issue a new key. I presume it should be able to generate the right sort of key.

If you like, you can try it, and if it messes up, we can fix it. I'm not 100% sure what will happen due to the license not being currently on offer.
