WinGate has support for various optional Antivirus plugins?

Postby willtech » Jun 16 06 10:21 pm

Hi,
Rather new here ATM.
Was wondering if anybody can tell me all the AV that have plugins for Wingate? Aparently WinGate has support for various optional Antivirus plugins.
I'm looking specifically for a way to use NOD32 with wingate since it's IMON module is supposed to be disabled on a server and I already have Enterprise licencing for NOD32.
Anybody?

Cheers :)

At the moment our support is limited to Kaspersky Antivirus, however, we are looking at extending this in the future. Would you mind if I contacted you off forum? ( I have some questions regarding NOD32 )

If you would be happy to provide me with the relevant Wingate info needed to do such a thing, I'd be happy to look at putting something together and produce a 'Recommended Config' document for the NOD32 part of it...

I only have one problem using anti-virus plugins, it slows down internet connection too much!

I won't comment on your experience but that I can appreciate where you're coming from.

There's several good reasons I wanted to make use of NOD32 with Wingate if possible.

NOD32

Where did this end up, I run NOD32 on all of my machines and would love to encorporate this to wingate directly?

Thanks

Still in the works I assume - I've had no notification since the post at the NOD32 support forum previously linked.

Not sure what format the NOD32 licensing would take (possibly similar to the existing) but I guess that's a question for ESET.

Cheers :)
