Block port 80 in specific user

Postby aerlijman » Nov 07 06 1:03 am

I have Wingate 6.14, NAT enabled and everybody can surf the web.
I want to block port 80 on one particular user.
What should I do? I tryied with the policies but do not understand the way it works.

Do you want to block this traffic based on user' IP or username?

I have all users mapped to their IP in Wingate, so I guess it will be easier and clearer to just select the user that I want to block that port.
Thanks

Are the users using NAT, or proxies?

For NAT, you would need to edit the Extended Networking policies.

Create one that gives all users access to everything except where protocol is TCP and port is 80.

Then another policy that grants access to only the users you want to have access to port 80 where the protocol is TCP and the port is 80.

may need to use the number 6 for protocol instead of "TCP".
