Hi,
We have a question, We are using Acrobat Reader 7 with a Plug-in "KVK Sign and Validate" to validate electronical Signatures added to PDF files. When Acrobat Reader tries to access the internet we get system log messages from Guest account ???????? Even when we do a check for updates in Acrobat Reader we get Guest messages in sys log! The users who are using Acrobat Reader have rights to access the Internet. How is this possible? Why do we get system messages that a guest account is trying to access the internet?
We are using Wingate 6.1.1 and we use the Nt user database from the local Wingate server (not the remote NT user database for AD as spoken in earlier support messages because it's not working!)
Kind regards,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Can you check to make sure that the Guest account in WinGate is enabled? Often when you import an NT user database the guest account is disabled, but WinGate needs the guest account enabled.
How are your users authenticating? If the Adobe software connects when the user does not have an active session, then it may be that it's not getting the chance to authenticate in which case it will show up as a guest account.
