HTTP Cache problem

Postby t.viscardi » Dec 28 11 10:31 am

Hello,
Recently I have configured HTTP Cache on WinGate 7 to work with MySQL. Everything was OK. Today I've changed the password to mysql account, after that I've provided that password in odbc dsn configuration. I've provided that password also in http cache wingate's configuration window. Now i get an authentication error, something like 'Access denied ... (using password: YES)'.
But the main problem is that, "HTTP Cache" module isn't now visible in Control Panel, so I can't fix anything. The logging module works ok, but no http cache configuration is available...
Is there any possibility to reset http cache configuration to factory defaults, or maybe to fix it via command line? I've exported registry config file, but there isn't any dsn url for MySQL database...

Hi

from 7.0.4 we added support for the cache UI to still show when the database was unavailable. Current version is 7.0.6

I'd recommend updating to the latest version.

OK, thanks for reply.
Yesterday I followed that instruction: http://forum.wingate.com/viewtopic.PHP?f=23&t=40550&p=36080&hilit=http+cache+registry#p36080 and cleared database connection parameters in registry.

Yes, today, 1 hour ago. Everything is now ok. Now I'm using MySQL to store http cache and timeline data.
Thanks, Tomasz Viscardi
