To: Sir
Our company has an upstream proxy to control users outbound traffic. Does it mean Wingate proxy services must set that proxy server to be my upstream server (if our web services are just for internal users.) Also, our company's upstream proxy, e.g. proxy1 port XXXX , does it means that on my binding policy must set to bind with that proxy's port XXXX?
I have tried to override the port number but it return error. Also, if I set the Wingate proxy services to Port XXXX, whenever usres get access to the Wingate proxy server they have to type the ip address of Wingate proxy server plus the specified port XXXX, e.g. http://192.168.0.1:8080. Is there anyway that user just type the ip address to get into the Wingate proxy server.
