I have this problem with wingate 5.2.2 and 5.2.3 on win2k3 with active directory. I installed win2k3 on a box with 3 nic's (a double intel pro and a realtek 83xx) 2 intels are 2 internal segments, the realtek goes to the external adsl modem. It worked fine for several days until I rebooted and noticed that it would only bind to one of the 2 intels. In the list of available nics, the other intel and the rt disappeared. I've tried everyhting but could not solve it. I Tried to remove-uninstal driver-reinstall, moving to other slots, other nics, nothing solves the problem. when starting up the qbik service (or wingate engine, or complete reboot) it mentions the new nic in the system messages, but the nic does not appear in the list of available connections.
At the end I completely wiped the disk and started all over, very carefully performing the install and got it back to work. 2 days ago, I rebooted the machine for windows updates, and guess what? 2 nics (1 intel, 1 rt) dissappeared from the list of available connections.
I have several years experience with wingate (3.x to 5.2) but I never saw this behavior before. I saw that wg6 has a rt8025 work around, but I don´t want to install a beta version that expires soon.
Moreover, I noticed that my vnc server only shows 1 ip address (I am not sure, but I tought that if you hover over the vnc icon in the taskbar, it should show all addressess on which it is listening on).
