Hey
I don't know if what I'm asking for makes sense, but I'll ask any way
I'm having troubles in downloading some PS3 game update from PSN, so
when it reach about 90 % , it disconnects and I lose all downloaded
data.
So I decided to download the update into my pc after capturing the exact
url that my ps3 uses to access the update file on PSN servers, then
I'm hoping to find a way to "fool" the PS3 to download the files from my
local directory instead of the PSN servers. I installed the wingate 6.2
(already have it from 2 years ago) on my pc for this purpose, and connected ps3 to pc via crossover cable, and my pc to my dsl router on the other NIC. Now ps3 accesses internet via wingate. I set port
forwarding and every thing works perfect, and I'm able to connect to PSN
and all other services.
Is there any workaround to force my ps3, when it requests the update
files from the PSN servers, to be redirected into my local folder
? Because if wingate can't solve it, no body can , and I'll give up .
Thanks in advance mates.
