remote control session timeout

The remote control session timeout is limited to only 1000 seconds (16.7 minutes). I'd like for users to be allowed to not have to log in again for as long as four hours. Right now I edit this value in the registry changing it to 14400.

1) Am I creating a problem by doing this? Is there a reason that it is limited to 1000 seconds?

2) Can gatekeeper be revised to allow values larger than 1000?

It is limited in the user interface, but you can override it in the registry. I'll flag this onto the wish-list.
