Problems sending mail with 6.0.1

I'm running wingate 5.2.3 and visnetic mail server on the same machine (Windows XP). The mail server runs fine running alongside wingate 5.2.3, but when I upgrade to 6.0.1, the mail server does not send outgoing mail - all messages go into the hold queue. I made sure that the POP server and SMTP server in wingate are disabled, as they are when running 5.2.3. The mail sever collects mail fine under wingate 6.0.1, but does not send outgoing mail. Please advise, I would like to upgrade to 6.0.1, but I need to have the visnetic mail server operating properly.

Are there any log messages on the VisNetic Mail Server that might indicate why it is failing to deliver? That should give a clearer indication of what has changed since the upgrade to 6.0.1.

Secondly, check your firewall logs. It doesn't sound as if this will be the problem, but it's worth a mention - have a look at the adapter useage settings in the network panel. Make sure they are configured correctly.
