HI! Do you solve this problem ?

HI! Do you solve this problem ?
I am sorry to say that I have the same problem with my wingate4.
I have use it for a long time (at least one year ). It do not have any problem, and always works smoothly. I like it!
But, recently, it has been out of work one time or more in one day.
If some one call me that he or she can not access internet, I also can not login the wingate keeper. It will display a messenger window. The meaning of this messenger window is the wingate server does not respond. And then, I have to restart the whole windows 2000 server system. After that , every thing is OK! But, a few hours later, this problem will occur again. I am tired. Do your have idea? Thank you!

In both of these cases, are you running versions of WinGate prior to 5.x ? This sounds like a case of a lockup inside the system. We've fixed many of these since the release of 4.x and in later versions we have systems you can enable to help track these problems down.

You can upgrade to the latest version of WinGate (6.0.1) and use it with a version 3, 4 or 5 license key - you will just not get the new features. (But will get the bug fixes, etc.)

I have found a resolution to this problem

I have found a resolution to this problem, follow these steps:
stop wingate engine,
open console,cd wingate's log file directory,
del *.* /s/q
close console
start wingate engine,
the problem won't happen for 1-2 days
but when the size of logfile exceed some limits,it will happen again

What does your free disk space look like at that time? That sounds remarkably like a disk-space problem.

Size of my free disk space is about 1.5GB at least when it occurred.
