Unable to redirect mail to exchange server

Postby lhyeoh » Sep 15 04 10:16 pm

My exchange server 5.5 is locate at another server. I have tried to setup the ENS setting to redirect my mail but the mail just can't be redirect.
My exchange server ip is 192.168.0.5
and my wingate ip is 192.168.0.1
I able to share the internet access to other PCs.
Can anyone show me how to setup the ENS in correct way in order for me to redirect my mail to exchange server?

Theoretically it should be easy - if all you're after is an ENS level redirect. In the "Internet to WinGate PC" port security table, for TCP add an entry for port 25 to 25. Select the redirect option at the bottom, don't translate source IP and don't override destination port.

That 'should' be all that is required. Make sure you do not have the mail services bound to port 25 on the external adapter, and you should be good to go. For the first testing attempts, I'd recommend ticking the "Notify if range is accessed" checkbox as well.

However, what problems were you experiencing with the ENS redirects you had set up?
