Wingate 6.0.3 Build 1005 problems :(

Postby xero » Oct 16 04 2:06 pm

After changing my computer to AMD64 with Gigabyte K8NS MainBoard. I have serious problem with WG 6.0.3b1005 (Trial)
Instalation process looks good. but after restart windows I have BSOD with

IRQ_LESS bla bla bla bla...
qbikhkxp.sys
Address F72AEC37 base at F7278000
DateStamp 4148ef6... Error...

After this... The One and Only way to properly start windows, is removing WG via Windows SafeMode. I have Windows XP with SP2.

Earlier with my old computer (Barton 2500+ with EPox) I haven't any problems with this Trial WG (the same version).

Is it posibble that reason of my trouble exist "through" AMD64 processor? I am still working on WXP with SP2 - fresh install of course...

Greetings, and thanks for any suggestion.

XP SP2 introduces DEP, and there is no way to turn it off for an indiviual driver (At least that we've found)

It causes incompatibilities with our driver - you need to turn DEP off completely. We are working on a fix, but it's not available yet.

will explain how to do that.
