Merging two internet connections

Is it possible to have a setup like this with wingate?

I have 2 internet connections through WAN. Both connections will come through a different broadband router. Is it possible that I can balance the connections and create rules for applications so that certain applications will use one connection and others the other connection? I can have a WAN connection directly connected to my PC if needed. Can Wingate help me achieve this?

WinGate 6.0 can allow you to set which connection will be used on a per-service basis. You can have say web traffic go out one interface, and FTP out another.

Or you can have a service use multiple connections in a round-robin fashion.

Thanks for the reply. How would the hardware setup be? Can I just plug in both connections into my PC and then Wingate do the rest?

Being the newbie I am; there is one more question. Whats this thing about Kaspersky AV? I already have a one year subscription for Kaspersky AV. Will that work with Wingate? Or do I need a plugin? Also what about other AVs. Do they work?

for WinGate to scan, you need the Kaspersky AV for WinGate plugin. The normal Kaspersky Labs product wont work with WinGate, and their licensing scheme doesn't allow us to share components, so the interface DLL that we use won't work with the scanning engine of their product, even though it is the same.

The only other AV that works with WinGate is VisNetic AV, which is also based on the Kaspersky Labs engine.

just installed wingate. how do I configure my PC to use a connection from a broadband router?

that can depend on the type of router you are using and how you are connecting to it (i.e. USB, ethernet etc).

the router documentation should have information on how to connect your machine to it and use it.

it worrks through Windows XP ICS. However Only one connection works at a time. And it told me to disable ICS. SO if I disable ICS will WinGate auto detect?

Also; Another n00b Question. So I cannot have norton and Wingate on the same PC right? Im planning to put wingate only on one PC for now actually...just to get 2 connections working.
