Hi

Which version of WinGate are you using?

Normally for Outlook, when you are using an SMTP proxy, or WInGate's SMTP server, the outlook settings would be the IP address of the WinGate machine for SMTP.

OK.

For WinGate 6.0.3, normally you wouldn't use the SMTP proxy at all. Instead you would use the SMTP server. The SMTP proxy dates back to WinGate 4.x, and is still in WinGate for compatibility with earlier installations.

The SMTP server is a lot more powerful and flexible.

In any case, the Outlook settings would be for mail delivery, to deliver to WinGate.

Hi

WinGate SMTP server should run on port 25, and the POP3 server on port 110 (if you are hosting mailboxes on WinGate).

Have you looked through the help file on this?
