Blocking Access to Messenger Services

Postby raj kumar » Dec 01 04 9:58 pm

Hi, I am Raj and I am a Version 5.2.3 user of Wingate in Malaysia.

We have a growing problem of staff wasting their time on on line chatting using messenger services, and would like to block access to such sites.

I tried using the Help feature, and followed the commands, but didn't seem to work.

Would anyone be able to guide me how could i solve this problem effectively?

Thanks!

Raj K.

How do your clients connect out through WinGate? Are they using WGIC, NAT or direct proxy (SOCKS, HTTP, others) ?
