Migrating Wingate from Win NT Server to Win Server 2003

Postby cristdom » Apr 07 05 9:01 pm

Hello,

We are going to migrate Wingate from Windows NT Server to Windows Server 2003. We are actually using Wingate 6.0.3 version. I would like to know with details the steps to do it to keep the same setup and the users.

Thanks for all.

Regards.

1. Export your registry settings on NT using Gatekeeper -> Options -> Advanced -> Save registry Settings.
2. Install the 2k3 server, activate a trial and import your settings.
3. Verify the settings
4. Deactivate the full license on NT and activate it on 2k3
5. Deactivate the trial on 2k3 and you're done.
