WinGate DHCP and client problems

Hello, this is my first post here.

I have WinGate system set up on a small network (4 machines). The server has connections with both provider and local LAN networks. I have following problems with WinGate server and clients:
- The server stopped giving IP addresses automatically to client machines. Gatekepper says that DHCP service is running properly. I had to assign addresses from scope 10.0.0.1 manually to machines.
- The client machines now can't use WRP protocol, so I have to set up proxies for every program separately. Resetting WinGate Client does not work at all.

Server is running on Windows XP Home with SP1 as well as clients do. WinGate version is 5.0.7 standard.

What should I do to make DHCP and WRP work again?

Hello and welcome. From the sound of it, things were working and then after some event they stopped working. I'd almost say the first step should be to find out what that event was. Could it be a Windows Update?

Secondly, if you can send me the WinGate registry along with the details of an "ipconfig /all" from the command line of the server and one of the clients, I should be able to dig through that and tell you what the problem is. If you are able to do that, email them to me at the email address listed in my profile. You can save the registry from GateKeeper -> Options -> Advanced -> Save Registry Settings.

Last thought would be to upgrade to a later version. You can use an earlier version license key with version 6 and there have been a number of improvements since then.
