Hi,
I have been using WinGate VPN successfully for about 6 months. After my ISP replaced my LAN modem at home I am unable to access my PC on the company LAN.
What I CAN do right now:
- connect to the company WinGate server. No problems like conflicting routes etc. are apparent in GateKeeper.
- ping my PC at the company (192.168.1.2) from my home PC (192.168.4.1)
- start the Remote Desktop Connection program in Win XP and click Connect which opens a new window...
The problem is this window it's black and does not open the log-in dialog box for the company's PC. The connection attempt is broken after ca. 20 seconds.
Some additional information:
My previous LAN router was not DHCP-capable, but the new one does and it's activated. My home PC is behind NAT. My collegues who use DHCP are able to connect properly (so the problem is caused by the new modem as nothing has changed on the server).
I would appreciate your assistance.
Thanks,
Patrick
