When this happens, is your client able to connect to the website via the IP address? So instead of
http://www.uol.com.br ... the client will try to connect to
http://200.221.2.45 ... If only the IP address allows connectivity during this failure, then there is a DNS problem somewhere.
Questions if above is true:
1. Can you please provide the DNS details of the client and server.
(Windows) Start Menu --> Run --> cmd --> ipconfig /all
2. How do the client connects to WinGate (Proxy / NAT / WinGate Internet Client).
3. Do you have any DNS servers placed in the DNS/WINS resolver? (GateKeeper --> DNS/WINS Resolver).
4. What version of WinGate are you using.
5. a) What version of Windows.
5. b) Do you run Active Directory in your network.
