WWW Proxy Server Policies

Postby vinceh » Jul 03 05 2:47 am

If I apply certain policies to 'Everyone', they work. If I apply them to specific users, they don't. An example is this: LAN1 is an assumed user and has has unrestricted rights. LAN2 is an assumed user with restricted rights - he can only visit sites listed for that user in the Advanced Tab under WWW Proxy Server Properties/Policies. Default Rights are set to be ignored. 'Everyone' has unrestricted rights, but if I remove Everyone, nothing works. The activity log shows that the correct assumed user has been identified. What do I have to do to enable LAN1 to have all access and LAN2 to have limited access?

Problem solved! I had Basic Authentication checked. Clearing this resulted in everything working as expected.
