Wingate with 1 NIC

Postby AGJG » Jul 07 05 5:01 pm

I have found two articles regarding the above topic:

http://forums.qbik.com/viewtopic.php?t=2659

http://forums.qbik.com/viewtopic.php?t=2623

I would like to know from anyone who has used Wingate with 1 NIC for some period if it works well on a small LAN, paricularly if it is used for Caching and Web Logging. Would like to know before I go and buy it.

(Dont need NAT and DHCP - handled by other equipment on the LAN).

I would if I have a spare machine at present. Part of my need for a proxy is to buy a new pc/server as well. The software is the cheap part. No need for me to buy another machine which will be unused if I cant use the software as described above.
