SSH via Wingate 6.0.3

Postby geokker » Jul 28 05 1:01 am

Hi,

I've got Wingate 6.0.3 running and I deperately need to connect to an internet server via SSH port 22.

Why is it mind-meltingly difficult?

I want to allow any IP on the LAN to connect via port 22 to any IP on the internet.

I think I've tried every possible permutation.

Please help!

There should be no problem at all - what kind of problem have you got? Can the clients do, say, web browsing?

Hi,

Web access is fine. I want to add a rule which will let anyone access anywhere via ssh and imap (22, 143) in both directions. How do I do this?

I don't understand why such common protocols are not catered for intuitively by the wingate interface.
