little help needed if possible :)

Postby evo_182 » Aug 21 05 4:04 am

Hello,

I have installed Wingate VPN on my Machine and using gatekeper

I have created a Vpn(host) which is running on the ip 192.168.1.182

I have a mate running the same software who is trying to connect to my machine through gatekeeper who is on the ip address 10.0.X.X

When he connect's all the pc's are not accessible, I am wondering why is this ?

The only things i could think of are maybe the ip's dont like each other or I using wrong software somewhere

Thanks

Dan

First of all, make sure that whatever gateways you are using (for example, ADSL modems) have UDP traffic through VPN port allowed - Wingate VPN uses UDP protocol for data channel. Also, make sure that all clients machines behind Wingate machine itself either have their default routes through this Wingate VPN machine or have RIP clients installed.

Can you ping a Wingate VPN machine from the joiner side when VPN connection is established?
