"nData"=dword:ffffff43
"dData"=hex:ff,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

These keys are for Wingate internal use - their functional load can change from version to version and it is not generally advised to change them manually.

Hi

This key holds a variant data type, so depending on the value of 'DataType', any one of

dwData (DWORD)
nData (integer.... hmmmm why have this as well?)
dData (floating point double)
strData (string)

will be valid.

thx for your answers.
i think my comprehension was wrong ,maybe it was none of the Versions' business
now i just wanna konw one thing: Can i use the Vers5 filter of users banding in the Ver6 by importing the registry files which is exported from ver5.
If these parameters import by ver5 instead of generated by the ver6 ,it will take effect about the Wingate functions ?

thanks

Hi

The policy framework in version 6 is the same as version 5, so yes, you can import policy registry entries from a WinGate 5 installation into WinGate 6.x
