What is Centralised configuration in Winsock Redirector serv

Postby clinthammer » Feb 14 06 12:15 am

Am still debating if I need Wingate Professional over Enterprise. Due to budget constraints I can go for Pro 25 users or Ent 12 users. WE are currently 11 users butI am sure I will need the spare licenses for the future.

So what is Centralised configuration in Winsock Redirector service?

Additionally, can I buy single licenses i the future. SAy I go fo Enterprise 12 users now - can I buy additional single enterprise licenses?

Thanks,
CD

Centralised config is as follows - when the WinGate client starts up, it connects to the server now, to check for config. This means you can centrally configure wingate clients from the server, rather than having to go round each client to set up config. This covers things like specific apps that can be run or redirected.

You can add licenses later, so if you needed another 6 say, you can add another 6 user license.

can you give me the pricing for additional (professional and enterprise) licenses or do I need to email Qbik directly?

Thanks,

Thanks I saw that. I already emailed qbik about prices for single licenses.

just in case we have 25 and next week we need only one more.

Thanks - the support here is awesome. Now just need to get my darn mgmt to approve the purchase of Wingate.

Hi

Bear in mind also that that is for 25 concurrent users. Normally this will cater for much more than 25 actual users, since normally not everyone is always using the net at the same time.
