Tried deleting history files but still no change.
In Gatekeeper, getting message

"client denied access-nonprivate address allocation denied"

I need to know if the wingate machine & Client machine needs tcp/ip numbers, now they are set up as 192.168.0.1 & 192.168.0.2 respectively

Nikko, depending on the version you are installing there should be an Install Guide (Help button) that will tell you the basics of what you need to know. You can also download this document from here.

http://downloads.qbik.com/qbiknz2/downl ... nstall.chm

(It's on the page you download WinGate from, along with the latest download of the documentation, etc.) That gives you three common scenarios for installing WinGate, how to configure the other computers on your network, etc.

If that isn't quite what you're looking for let me know and tell me where you're stuck and we'll take it from there.

Hi Nikko,

Yes you should use 'private range' addresses 10.10.x / 192.168.x or if a must for public IP ranges you can 'Allow allocation of non private addresses' in the DHCP properties.
