IS it possible that I could get some help anytime? I was planning on buying a license, but if this problem is persisent I'm going to change my mind. Especially if I get no support.

Hi

That indicates a problem with WinGate - what version are you running? You need to restart WinGate, it looks to have hung.

The other option when this is happening is that actually the username you are logging in with is spelt incorrectly.

It isn't hung, because it is working I just can't login to manage the settings with gatekeeper. I didn't set any username, I only installed it 2 days ago, and it worked, but yesterday when I tried to log in with the same settings this message appeared. The computer which is running wingate haven't been turned off in that period it was running continously.

I've tried uninstalling wingate, and then reinstalled it, but it's still the same..

Is there a way, to purge the account settings manually?

The version is 6.1.1 1077

Ok, I have found the source of the problem.

I have set the www proxy to port 808. While gatekeeper is using the same port to connect.

This should be included in the next relase to have at least a warning message, if you set the port of any service to the same as remote access.

Ah!

Thanks for that. We normally check bindings between services I thought, but the WWW proxy must have got priority somehow. Most odd.
