Wingate and Exchange setup

Postby defiantclass1 » Jul 14 06 1:45 am

I am setting up Exchange 2003 for the first time. I intend to use OWA along with it. I wanted to use an SSL connection to OWA using a Wingate generated certificate.

Basically, I was wondering if there was a document outlining best practices for this type of configuration in Wingate. I've been reading the help seciton and found lots of good pieces of info, but I'm looking for some more detail specific to what I'm doing.

Thanks

To add to my question, I did read the document titled "Setting up and Using Wingate Mail 6". I have gone with the configuration to just pass mail through Wingate and not use Wingate's SMTP or POP servers.

I have aslo generated a certificate.

What I'm having issue with is, what to do with the certificate specifically. (copy it the exchange mail server on my network, let it just sit in Wingate, etc....) I've read th help on SSL and certificates, but a little lost.

Thanks again
