Update Error

After I updated with the new wingate version. my server started coming up with errors like blue screen Bad_data_pool. Also errors in event viewer saying: code 2506 The value named IRPStackSize in the servers reg key Lanmanserver\parameters was invalid.........
Plus a couple of others like The service could not bind servie1. The data is the error code
source smtpsvc
and same error with the source this time being W3svc.
All good after a reg reinstall but is this a problem with the update?

So have you experienced this BSOD since?! Did it happen straight away after WinGate was upgraded, or did traffic got through the machine first? And if so what type of traffic? Which OS are you running?

About an hour after it installed the server locked up. Restarted it and it seemed ok for anoter hour or so then the same thing happened.
The next day it was blue screen and had to do a reg restore still no go, then uninstalled wingate and reinstalled it and everything seems to be fine now.
Have not done the update again.
Running win2k Server.
Have plugins gatefilter and visnetic antivirus.
Traffic is pop smtp http ftp.

when you say you have not done the update again, does that mean you reinstalled the previous version of WinGate?

Which version was that, and also just to confirm, when you installed the latest version, that was 5.2?
