Change Cache directory

Postby defiantclass1 » Sep 30 06 4:48 am

In the registry, if I want to change the location of the cache directory, would I change the "CacheDirectory" key to the directory I want?

Currently, it simply says "cache" in the data field, not the directory path of where it currently is. Is that because it is assumed it is in it's default location or something??

How could I point the cache to go to another drive?

Thanks

Hi

it bases it on the current directory that the WinGate process is running in

I'm pretty sure you can however specify a full path. For remote drives remember to use full UNC path, since the system account doesn't connect drive shares etc.
