Managing e-mail internal server conections

Hi to all, first of all I would like to thanks all people here that helps normal users to improve the wingate performace, thanks guys!

The 'problem" here is that the wingate email server (WES to improve my long explanation) takes all the conections to the server and HE mankes the sends of emails to outside... (sorry for my english).

I would like to know if there is a way to configure this WES to take onl the internal emails and make the correspond delivery but only to internals accounts and no to the externals, this is because the ISP severs sends me (every time more often) an :

Attempting connection to inbound.registeredsite.com.<= 220 inbound.registeredsite.com ESMTP SMTP Service (NO SPAM/UCE) succeeded => HELO SION <= 250 inbound-mx2.atl.registeredsite.com Hello adslpptp-200.58.174.4.cotas.com.bo [200.58.174.4] (may be forged), pleased to meet you => MAIL FROM:<javier@viscarra.net> <= 553 5.1.8 <javier@viscarra.net>... Domain of sender address javier@viscarra.net does not exist


I understan that means my server it is been catalogues as a spammer email server that it is not.

So, and resuming, internal mail (viscarra.net) managed by SION (my server). And external emails e.g. @yahoo.com @external.ISP.com no managed, so the clients go and deliver his emails everyone by his own connection. Obviously I want that my internals mails can be recived by the clients. I mean, i do not want to stop sending internal mails.

What this means is that the from address of the mail is not a valid domain.

When I check the domain viscarra.net, it seems to not exist.

If you are using this domain for internal email, then you should make sure that WinGate believes it is a local domain (add the domain viscarra.net to the list of local domains). Then WinGate will not try and deliver it to your ISP.

The problem is that as my domain (viscarra.net) it is not regisered the ISP servers are been banning me of his services, and I dont know how to send mail to these servers using a direct connection between my eg. Microsoft outlook and the ISP eg yahoo.com, and keep the internal trafic on the internal domain viscarra.net.

WinGate will check the recipient domain for inbound connections.

While its preferable to use a vaild email address, you can test this by deselecting the option 'Validate sender domain' in the email settings.

the problem is irrespective of WinGate. Since you have configured your email client to send mail with the reply-to address, or return address as an invalid one (since your domain does not exist yet), then the ISP mail servers are blocking the mail.

If you wish to send email outside your network, you will have to use a "from address" which is valid and exists on the internet.
