Wingate X on Mac OS X

Hi All,

I need to install Wingate on an small OSX network. I have not looked at Wingate X in a very long time and have not previously used Wingate X on a MAC network. I have two questions. 1. Are there any particulkar issues on MAC OSX? 2.) Does dead gateway detection work on Wingate X?

Hi Bob

WinGateX hasn't had any development done on it for a couple of years - it never really took off, so I can't recommend it for a production environment. It doesn't support dead gateway detection.
