JAVA Authentication - No Response on Port

Hi,
Currently, I am Wingate 6.0.4. My users are having problem to login to the Internet. On the Java Authentication pop out, they are getting error message said that 'No Response on Port'. Not too sure what is the cause of the problem.

Confirm that the Remote Control Service is bound to a network card that is accessible to your LAN Clients; it will not bind if you do not put in an Administrator password, and an error message should have warned you of that when you first logged in.

However, i have tried that but it still doesn't work.
In the System Messages tab, i got the message said 'Authentication failed - user Guest on .... (LAN user IP) requested NAT:UDP .......

I have enable the JAVA Authentication in WWW Proxy Server setting. Did i miss out any important setting?

1. Confirm the guest account is enabled for the sake of testing, and that there are not policies in the remote control service that may be blocking access; you may also want to check how the Remote Control Service interacts with the System Policies *You could add Everyone, user may be unknown, and set the default rights to "Are ignored" for the sake of tesitng.


2. On the computer that is getting the "No response on port", bring up a telnet session and confirm that you can access the remote control service; it should return some numbers.

(Windows) Start menu --> Run --> telnet --> open x.x.x.x 808
*Where x.x.x.x is the internal ip address of the WinGate server.


--> If that does not work, then you either:

a) Have a firewall blocking port 808.
b) You have not bound the remote control service to an internal adapter as shown in the image below.

You are rights, the Firewall has blocked the port 808, overlooked that.

Now the system is working fine.
