Internal connections to webserver

Postby defiantclass1 » Apr 05 07 1:40 am

Hello,

We just stood up a webserver on our network. Outside connections can reach it fine through the standard URL. I want to redirect my internal computers on the network to connect to it via it's internal IP address rather than going out first.

So when an internal computer goes to the url: https://mywebserver.com they are directed to the internal 192.168.x.x address to connect to the application on the webserver.

Can I do this through Wingate? I am still using 6.0.4. Haven't upgraded yet...

Thanks

Ver 6.2 (Enterprise) and up you can use the reverse proxy feature of the WWW service to redirect to LAN webserver to achieve this. So I would suggest it might be worth the upgrade...
