Do you know if DNS is working on the client machine?

e.g. if you go to a command line and try

ping www.wingate.com

do you get an IP address reported?

ok, that indicates that DNS isn't working on the client machine.

How does the client machine get its IP address? automatically, or have you set it manually?

That was the problem. changed it to get ip automatically and it logged right on. Thanks
