Hi, just a little more information about your setup.

Have you left Wingate's firewall enabled [ENS installed and active] as well as Windows firewall?

Image

You are connecting from the same machine as Wingate and not a client on the lan?

The IP addresses chosen in the Class A subnet, it would be better to have one on another eg: External 10.14.1.xxx // Internal 10.14.0.xxx [or even Class C // 192.168.0.xxx].

Check Adaptor usage in Gatekeeper.

Thanks for the help. I had the windows firewall and wingate firewall enabled at the same time. Moreover i made the change in cache properties by adding the address for the apple site.

I wasnt connecting from the machine on which wingate is installed. In fact i was connecting from a client.

The adaptor was working fine.

Can you tell me how to restrict bandwidth to certain users on wingate???

What you could do is with a 'Pro or Enterprise' Licence, open the Extended Networking Service and click Enable Bandwidth Control.

Under the service is a range of options to specify which clients are limited, the times required and which direction is affected for example.
