Wingate Java authentication in IE 7

Postby pheakavoin » Mar 05 08 8:02 pm

Hi world,

I'm trying to allow users to access the Internet through Wingate with Java Authentication mode.. but when launching IE, it say that Java Authentication is required to work on Java enabled browser.

Your comment to deal with this will be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Your client computers will need to have the Java Runtime Environment installed. They will also need to enable the Java add-on in their browsers, however this should happen automatically when Java is installed.

You can download Java from http://www.java.com/

You can check which add-ons are installed/enabled under (Internet Explorer -> Tools drop down menu -> Manage Add-ons -> Enable or Disable Add-ons...). The Java add-ons will be listed under the publisher "Sun Microsystems, Inc"
