An easy thing to try is to limit what's being logged.

What events do you have selected for logging?

That sounds about right. Unless you need the numbers you could uncheck Session Traffic to decrease the file size.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand.

Do you mean change the drive where the log file is stored?

I have interpreted two possible scenarios from your posts.

1. you want the log files to only record HTTP transfers that are larger than 30MB.

^ This is not possible. Logging is either enabled or disabled for certain events. You cannot control any more than you can in the Logging sections of your services. In WinGate 7, there will be many more options regarding how logging is done. I envisage that this will be possible in WinGate 7.

If the reason you you want to do this is to make the log files easier to read, I suggest letting WinGate record everything to the log files and then use one of the third party log file analyzers that I mentioned in one of your previous threads.

2. You have limited hard drive space and you want to prevent the WinGate logs from taking up too much space.

^ If this is your case, then you do have some options.

A. You could modify the daily maintenance event in the WinGate Scheduler so that old log files are deleted from the log folders on a scheduled basis. This is best done by executing a batch file that is scripted to purge old files.

B. You could make WinGate record the log files to a different hard drive on your server that has plenty of space left. See the following KB article for instructions on how to do this.
http://support.qbik.com/index.php?_a=kn ... ils&_i=162

C. As Labull suggested you could turn off logging for services and events that are unneccesary. This is usually an efficient method of restricting log file sizes.
