WGIC doesn't come up asking for username password

Postby DIP » Mar 21 08 5:52 pm

hi..

WGIC doesn't come up asking for username and password on client comp.. if I set WRP policy to "everyone" & check "may be used instead" everything works.. But if I add user in WRP service and set sys polices to "are ignorred" The wgic Auth. dialog doesnt come up and doesnt asks User/pass And Inet doesnt work on client PC...

Aditional client compuer finds server i can see it in server s tab.. and when i run WGIC first time after installing this dialog appears but after reboot lunching IE another apps that req. inet.. nothing happends.. i tried to reset & reinstal Wgic But its doesn't help.. in gate keepr i see this client and the programs that tries to connect it tells "user guest"!?!?! if i right click on it.. turned off all firewalls on both PC.. ping works fine both sides.. NAT service also works if I disable Wgic.. server uses static IP.. Client IP assigned By DHCP (win DHCP Not WG DHCP).

Both PC Win Xp SP2 IE7 WG6.2.2 trial

thx.

p.s. Sorry for my bad English..

Hi

That's unusual, which user database are you using in WinGate? The Windows one, or WinGate's one?

Hi... thx for answer..

I used WinGate DB..

I find a "solution" to fix it BUT it works only once per user (Per machine or per IP).. after installing Wingate i saved reg file (config file) & after loading it & reatarting WG engine its asks for user & pass on client mashine BUT only once for a user (for IP) if I reboot client mashine its stops asking but I can see that user connects as guest.. Now WG works without Auth & works fine..BUT I really NEED IT .. by the way java auth works great..

Sry once more for Bad English.. I'll wait for your answer..

thx..
