error 1053

dear support,

i use wingate version 6.2.2

so far it's works well,

but till ytd i got a trip in my office,

then then wingate unable to go online,

then hv below error

Error 1053: the service did not repond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

pls guide.

Hi

How long did you wait for the service to start? Does it have any plugins (e.g. PureSight or Kaspersky) loaded?

Did you try rebooting the server?

hi,

then service starting endless time without a sucess, there non hv any plugin loaded,

alr try restart all, but still the same.

Hi

The only thing I am aware of that occasionally prevented (haven't seen this issue for a very long time) WinGate starting was corrupt history database.

Could you try stopping the engine, delete History.cdx and History.idx from the WinGate folder and see if that helps?

History.cdx found n deleted after i restart the system,
the system work well,

and History.idx i could not find that specific file,

any way thanks very much.
