NAT connection problem url not resolving just ips

Postby liverpoolatnight » Apr 22 09 1:28 am

I have a NAT setting up with the gateway, dns and enabled the transproxy with ports 80 and when i try and go on the bbc iplayer website on my wii it comes up with no page. BUT when i take off the transproxy is fine but is coming up with just ips and the port connection. I wont to see the urls as in the ban list has ads blocked.

So im guessing i have to just set the local DNS to my wingate server or is there a way around this as i have a dhcp server enabled on wingate?

6.5.2 released 4 February 2009 Thats what bulid i have.

Hi,

In my opinion, ALL your workstations and your WII , should have their GATEWAY and DNS IP address that goes to your local Wingate server "internal" IP address...

Best regards
